Exploring Iceland during its darkest month makes for a very otherworldly experience; daylight is extremely short but sunrise and sunset can last for hours, providing the most wonderful and vivid atmosphere. Hiking down a glacier at sunset, I was in a state of euphoria watching the sun gracefully paint the landscape. Lightly outlining the individuals and delicately defining the mountain’s shape, it was like a masterpiece right before my eyes. Being able to capture and express my vision is what makes photography a form of art and Canon has always been the tool that allows me to capture these moments. @marcabasolophotography
